Sleeping At Last's latest project is "Atlas: Year 1", which is a compilation of extended plays and it was released on July 8th, 2014. The movie "The Fault In Our Stars" used the song "Sun", part of the album "Atlas: Space 1", on their trailer. In 2012, the musical project released the EP "8 Bits" which contained songs that were remixed by Michael Caroll and Steven Padin. Both of them were included on the album "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack". The song was named "Turning Page" and had a second version named "Turning Pages Instrumental". In 2011, Sleeping At Last announced that he would write a song exclusively for the movie "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1". The television series "Private Practice" included two of their songs on their episodes, "Homesick" and "Watermark", and then "Emphasis", "Wires", "Tethered" and "From The Ground Up". The songs were included in twelve EPs, each one being named after the month of its release. In 2010 they started a project named "Yearbook" which meant that for the period of one year they release three new songs at the beginning of each month. One of their songs, "Tethered" appeared on the television series "Grey's Anatomy". Sleeping At Last embarked on tours as the opening acts for Switchfoot, Yellowcard, Something Corporate, Zwan, The Format and Bleu. Ryan O'Neal approached various musical styles like indie rock, baroque pop, emo and alternative pop. The musical project has been on the market since 1999. Because of their local popularity they caught the attention of Billy Corgan.Īfter that came the contract with Interscope Records and their first major label, "Ghosts". They used to serve as the opening act for bands like Plain White T's and Kill Hannah. Initially, the group started with Ryan O'Neal as a lead singer, Dan Perdue as the bassist and Chad O'Neal as the drummer.
